You.. Rocked me all night long....

"I'm a Rockin' Girl... in a Rockin' World.... life is spastic.. it's fantastic!...."
*sung to the tune of "Barbie Girl" by Aqua.

Two or Three Different people have graced me with this title in the last week and a half, and I keep forgetting to come post about it. What can I say?

I'd like to thank the Academy. The loyal readers (all 6 of you) who come back and comment, time after time, no matter how silly or frivolous my posts might be. The people who have found my blog doing searches such as "scrap smack crap" , "does your eyeball grow" and "frolicking barefoot on the grass". ( I don't know how that first one ranks 7.. I Googled it and after 8 pages didn't find my blog listed.. stupid sitemaps). The people who follow links from other sites, visit briefly and then move on to bigger and better things. The bloggers I've met through other people, who have turned out to be gems. The lurkers who read and never post. I'd like to thank Blogger for finally getting the stick out of it's arse and revamping the whole website so that now I get spell check and can post photos every time, not just on occasion when the stars and moons lined up with the sun. Finally, I'd like to thank life. For giving me so much to blog about in the first place. Without you I'd be Nowhere.

I'd like to nominate:

Carly. She's about as rockin' as they get. Thanks for putting up with all my crap over all these years, always lending a sympathetic ear and not letting other things or people, get in the way of "us".

Becca. Even though her Blog has a mind of it's own, and sometimes posts itself in Japaneese, Becca is a force to be reckoned with. She runs a million miles a week, teaches small children and lives alone while her dh gets deployed and survives on popcorn and Nilla Waffers.

and because 5 is way too many.. lastly I give you Tracey. She's fun. She's real. She's famous (well, in the scrap booking world anyhow). She has a heart as big as gold and a sense of humor that keeps you in stitches. I'm happy to say I "know" her.

Because I don't care about superstitions and whatnot... I'm not interested in you three posting either a. that you received the award or b. nominating other people to receive it. I just wanted to give the speech.
