Speaking of Pan Fest...
I just Googled and found this little blurb...
The 17th annual New England Pan Festival. Day 2: Performances by fifteen community, school and college bands from throughout New England including - Blueberry PANcakes; Drum Wave; FLASH! In The Pans; Hopkinton Steel; Mango Groove; Mad Anthony's Panhandlers; PANUnited Steel Orchestra of Boston; Planet Pan; Rhythm Rockets; Steel Dreams; Steel Industry; Steel Magnolias; Steelin' Thunder; Tinpanic; Tropical Sensations and The Vermont Panhandlers. That's US! The Steel Magnolia's. We also are bringing Drum Wave (5th and 6th graders) and Tropical Sensations (the original group that has been playing the longest.. (oh, and did I mention that I'm joining them to play the 6-drum basses?)..)
This guy, is who we get our drums from. He also comes out here twice a year and tunes them. His band will be playing at the fest, and I believe that he organizes the whole thing. I don't agree with the site that he's got the BEST steel band in NH.. but I guess they are pretty good.
