There is nothing more glorious than a snow day that falls on Friday. Well, almost nothing.
The snow is coming down at a pretty good rate, and they are calling for a foot to fall by 3pm. Looks like we'll have our white Christmas this year.
I hope you enjoyed my silly little poems. As promised, here is the "recipe" if you'd like to write some of your own. Kids really get into this, and we have a bunch of different holiday poem recipes that we are using at school. I thought it would be fun to just pick one and see how many different versions I could come up with.
Line 1: Name of the Holiday
Line 2: Something you see on this holiday
Line 3: Something you smell on this holiday
Line 4: Something you hear on this holiday
Line 5: Something you taste on this holiday
Line 6: Something you touch on this holiday
Line 7: Name of the holiday
