Project Number Three. (tomorrow I'll share my gate, had to finish painting it (again) today.)
(and apparently the internet elves ate my Sunday post so here it is again)
Every get around to something, and when you were done think, "WHY did we take SO LONG to get to that?"
Our upstairs bathroom is a remodel from the early 80's. So it has a "late 70's feel" to it. It is in dire need of a makeover. It's also pretty low on the priority list. However the faucet was a nightmare. Short. Set too far back from the sink bowl. You could barely put your hands under it to wash them.
We loved our downstairs faucet so much, that I got the same one for upstairs. The boy spent Saturday afternoon installing it. It's so awesome. It changed the whole feel of the sink. It makes me happy to go in there and see it. And I can wash my hands!! And not have them be all cramped against the sink bowl. Washing Goodness! I can almost live with the bathroom a few more years. Why didn't we do this sooner???

It's always amazed me how something that seems so small (once it's done anyways) can make such a big difference in my happiness. Things like sink faucets, new door knobs (there is currently a sock stuffed in the hole where one goes in our bathroom door since the other one broke), and ceiling fans. Congrats on that project being d-o-n-e. :)
